Jamie bought this car as is but the car was equipped with an Anderson PMS system. The car needed some help in the tuning department so we decided to pull the PMS and go at it with our tuning software and chip. We knew the 42# injectors and fuel system were going to be weak if the engine made any power. Before tuning we found that the battery ground had not been run all the way from the rear to the engine. This will cause a host of problems such as slow starting, wandering idle, surging, high-speed miss, etc. After running the proper ground cable and getting into the tune, we found that we were running out of fuel system and had to keep the testing down to around 5000 rpm.
The car really needs a set of 60# injectors and an Aeromotive fuel system so we will do a re-tune later when the car is fixed up with these.
