Brad Medlock 2011 NMRA World Finals

Brad Medlock rolled into the Bowling Green NMRA World finals with one thing in mind, to go as quick and fast as possible in the Xtreme Drag Radial class. The Panhandle Performance, 400 cubic inch engine, has the potential to blow the field away, but Brad has yet to put it all together in the 1/4 mile as most of his testing has been in the 1/8 mile. Eighth mile times have been in the very promising high 4.70 range so this car looks to be poised to have potential 7.30’s in it’s future.

After qualifying #2 with a 7.55 @ 186 behind Sean Lyon, the top two qualifying spots were locked in for the Panhandle team.

Brad went on to a close Semi-final loss against a desperate Jason Lee, who had to win in order to keep his championship hopes alive.

Congratulations to Brad and his crew for running a first class campaign all year long and thanks to John Kolivas for the tuning and Mike Duffy Race Cars for the great suspension work. Great job guys! If Brad decides to give chase for for the drag radial championship in 2012, he is going to be hard to beat.
